Economy and Trade Meeting with Former Czech Foreign Minister Tomáš Petříček Upload Date 2023-11-29 Hits 1635

The Department of International Trade and Economic Security Studies of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) held a meeting with former Foreign Minister Tomáš Petříček of the Czech Republic on the theme of “ROK-Czech Republic economic trade cooperation” on November 29, 2023 from 15:30 to 17:30 at the Professors’ Seminar Room (3rd floor) of KNDA.


 


Held on the occasion of the visit of the former Czech Foreign Minister and currently, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of International Relations Prague (IIR), founded by the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting discussed topics such as the impact of geopolitical and geoeconomic crises; economic security and trade policy formulation between the ROK and EU; as well as the potential for economic cooperation between the ROK and Czech Republic, for a better understanding of Korean economic diplomacy. The meeting also delved into substantial issues to help expand ROK-Czech Republic and ROK-EU cooperation.
