On April 24, 2025, the Center for ASEAN-Indian Studies of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) hosted an expert roundtable on “The Philippines’ Perception and Strategy on Maritime Security in the South China Sea,” on the occasion of Philippine experts’ visit to Korea.
During the meeting, IFANS and Philippine experts examined the Philippines’ views on recent developments in the region and discussed future trajectories for Philippines-U.S. and Philippines-China relations under the second Trump administration.
