3rd Expert Seminar on the ROK’s Indo-Pacific Strategy Upload Date 2023-04-27 Hits 1557
On April 27, 2023, the Center for ASEAN-Indian Studies of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) held the 3rd expert seminar on the ROK’s Indo-Pacific Strategy on the topic of “How to Advance the ROK-India Strategic Cooperation in the Indo-Pacific.”

IFANS and outside experts discussed concrete measures to forge and advance cooperation with key regional players in South Asia including India. The participants of the meeting also addressed the dynamics and relations in South Asia and examined detailed ways to implement the ROK’s Indo-Pacific strategy by agenda.
 

The list of participants includes: Professor CHOE Wongi, Head of the Center for ASEAN-Indian Studies (IFANS/KNDA); Research Professor CHO Won Deuk (IFANS/KNDA); Researchers LEE Sang Hoon and LEE Hayoung; Director KIM Bong Hoon of the Global Innovation Cluster Center at Hanyang University; Senior Researcher KIM Yong-sik at the POSCO Research Institute; Dr. KIM Jeong Gon, Head of the India and South Asia Team at the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy; Executive Director SONG Kyung-jin of the Innovative Economy Forum; Director-General SONG Chi-woong of the Center for Science and Technology under Office of Sustainable Innovation Policy Research at the Science and Technology Policy Institute; and HK Research Professor JI Yeon-jeong at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies; and Director CHOI Yoon Jung of the Center for Indo-Pacific Studies at the Sejong Institute.
