Japan-East Asia Expert Forum Upload Date 2023-08-29 Hits 1590
On August 29, 2023, the Center for Japanese Studies of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) held a Japan-East Asia expert forum on the topic of “Mutual Perceptions between South Korea and Japan in the Context of Diplomacy and Domestic Politics.” The forum was arranged to reflect on the mutual understanding between South Korea and Japan within the dynamics of diplomacy and domestic politics and to discuss its implications for Korean diplomacy towards Japan.
 


The forum proceeded with a presentation by Professor KOHARI Susumu at the University of Shizuoka, followed by designated discussions by Professor LEE Won-Deog at Kookmin University and Former Ambassador CHO Taiyoung of the Republic of Korea to Indonesia. The event concluded with a free discussion participated by all participants.
