38th IFANS-JIIA Academic Conference Upload Date 2023-09-07 Hits 1564
On September 7, 2023, the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security and the Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) held the 38th IFANS-JIIA Academic Conference. The closed-door meeting brought together scholars from the two sides for an in-depth discussion on the Northeast Asian security landscape, Korea-Japan relations, and Korea-U.S.-Japan cooperation.
 


From our side, IFANS Senior Executive Director LEE Moon Hee, Director-General KIM Jong Han, Professor JO Yanghyeon, Director-General/Professor KIM Hyun-wook, Director-General/Professor CHOI Wooseon, Professor KANG Seonjou, Associate Professor LEE Hyo Young, Assistant Professor PYO Nari, and Research Professor LEE Sang-sook participated. Japanese participants included Director General Tomiko Ichikawa at JIIA; Kurata Hideya, Professor at the National Defense Academy; Nishino Junya, Professor at Keio University; Sahashi Ryo, Assistant Professor at the University of Tokyo; Kamoshita Hiromi, Assistant Professor at Konan Women's University; and Iimura Tomoki, Researcher at the Japan Institute of International Affairs.
