2023 KNDA-DAV Bilateral Dialogue Upload Date 2023-10-26 Hits 1629
On October 26, 2023, the Center for ASEAN-Indian Studies of the Department of Indo-Pacific Studies, Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) held its first bilateral dialogue with the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV) on the theme of “Indo-Pacific Geopolitics and Vietnam-ROK Strategic Cooperation.”

The delegation from DAV first paid a courtesy call on Chancellor PARK Cheol Hee of KNDA through which both sides affirmed their continued cooperation towards a Vietnam-ROK “Comprehensive Strategic Partnership,” elevated last year, and exchanged views on ways to implement cooperation mechanisms towards this end between the two institutes.

 

Subsequently, the following sessions featured presentations and discussions among experts from both countries on topics such as ▲ U.S., China and Indo-Pacific Geopolitics: Strategic Assessment and ▲ Directions for Vietnam-ROK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
