On June 24, 2021, Center for Chinese Studies of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) participated in the 16th Jeju Forum and held a session under the topic of “China’s Technological Rise and Inclusive Prosperity amid the U.S.-China Competition.”
The session was designed to examine the impact of China’s new technology development strategy on international relations amid the intensifying U.S.-China competition and explore how South Korea can promote regional peace and prosperity in the future.
KNDA Chancellor KIM Joon Hyung delivered opening remarks, and the list of participants includes Advisor JEON Jae-man Center for Chinese Studies (IFNAS), Professor Douglas FULLER of Hong Kong City University, Professor CHEN Dingding of China’s Jinan University, Professor EUN Jong-hak at Kookmin University, and Director-General KIM Yanghee of Dept. of Economy, Trade and Development Studies (IFANS).
