Defense and Unification Seminar on How to Revive the Denuclearization and Peace Process after the Moon-Biden Summit Upload Date 2021-06-28 Hits 1069
On June 28, 2021, the Dept. of National Security and Unification Studies of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) held a seminar on how to revive the denuclearization and peace process after the Moon-Biden summit.
 
 
At the seminar designed to explore ways to revive the denuclearization and peace process after the first Moon-Biden summit, participants presented on and discussed an overview of the political and security environment for policies toward North Korea’s nuclear and missile programs and resumption of the U.S.-North Korea nuclear talks and strategies to settle the first phase of the North Korean nuclear agreement.

The list of participants includes: Professor KIM Tae-hyun of Chung Ang University; Professor KIM Heung-kyu of Ajou University; Senior Research Fellow PARK Byung-kwang of the Korea Institute for National Security Strategy; Research Associate WANG Son-taek at Yeosijae (Future Consensus Institute); Dr. LEE Sang Hyun, Senior Research Fellow and Chief Director for Research Planning at the Sejong Institute; Director-General RIM Kap-soo for Korean Peninsula Peace Regime of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea; and other eminent outside experts; and KNDA Chancellor KIM Joon Hyung; IFANS President OH Younju; Professor JUN Bonggeun; Director-Generals CHOI Wooseon and KIM Hyunwook (IFANS); and other IFANS experts.
