3rd IFANS Trade Policy Forum

On June, 29, 2021, Dept. of Economy, Trade and Development Studies and Dept. of Asian and Pacific Studies held the 3rd IFANS Trade Policy Forum on topic of "Digital Transformation of Major Economies and Recent Efforts to Draw up Trade Rules: Korea's Way Forward." The Forum was arranged to discuss the geopolitical implications of digital transformation, challenges ahead and how Korea's digital trade policies should be formed in the coming years.
The list of participants includes: Professor KIM Sang bae of Seoul National University; Deputy Director-General LEE Kyung Soo of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy; Professor LEE Seungjoo of Chung-Ang University; Professor KANG Jun-Ha of Hongik University; Minister of Economy KIM Min-Chul at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Japan; Minister-Counselor KIM Jin-dong at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Russia; Deputy Director-General CHOI Jin Won for Bilateral Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea; Korea’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain CHUNG Hae-kwan and many other eminent experts on trade.
IFANS participants included: IFANS President OH Youngju; Director-General KIM Young-moo of Dept. of Asian and Pacific Studies; Director-General KIM Yang-hee of Dept. of Economy, Trade and Development Studies; Professor JUN Hae-won; Professor LEE Hyo Young; Researchers HWANG Jee Hye, CHO Minkyun, LEE Bo Yan and SEO Yunjung.
