36th IFANS-JIIA Academic Conference Upload Date 2021-09-16 Hits 894
On September 16, 2021, the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) and the Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) jointly held the 36th IFANS-JIIA Academic Conference (closed-door).

 

Participants had in-depth discussions on U.S.-China relations and Northeast Asia’s political landscape, and Korea-Japan relations.

The list of participants includes: IFANS President OH Youngju; Professor JO Yanghyeon (IFANS); Director-Generals CHOI Wooseon, KIM Young-moo, KIM Hyun-wook, KIM Yanghee (IFANS); Professors JUN Bonggeun, HWANG Il-do, PYO Nari (IFANS); Professors PARK Yong-min and YOON Suk Jung (IFANS); Director-General Tomiko ICHIKAWA (JIIA); Professor Hideya KURATA (National Defense Academy, NDA); Professor Yasuyo SAKATA at the Kanda University of International Studies (KUIS); Professor Hajime IZUMI at Tokyo International University; Senior Research Fellow Mitsuhiro SHIMURA at the Northeast Asian Economic Research Institute; Senior Fellow Takesi WATANABE at the National Institute for Defense Studies; and Senior Fellow Tomoki IIMURA at the Japan Institute of International Affairs.
