IFANS-IJS Conference: Korea-Japan Relations in the Post-Abe Era Upload Date 2021-12-15 Hits 1031
On December 15, 2021, Center for Japanese Studies of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) and the Institute for Japanese Studies ((IJS) of Seoul National University co-hosted an academic conference on the topic of “Korea-Japan Relations in the Post-Abe Era.”
 
The conference was arranged to discuss recent developments in Japan’s politics, foreign affairs and national security, economy, and socio-cultural trends in 2021, re-examine Japan’s current and future tasks, and forecast Korea-Japan relations in the post-Abe era.

 
 
The list of participants includes: President OH Youngju of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security; Director KIM Hyun-Chul of Institute for Japanese Studies; Professor KIMIYA Tadashi at the University of Tokyo; Professor SOHN Yul at Yonsei University; Professor KIMURA Kan at Kobe University; Professor LEE Jeong Hwan at Seoul National University; Professor Nam Ki Jeong, Research Manager at IJS; Professor PARK Sang-joon at Waseda University; Assistant Professor JEONG In-sun at the University of Tokyo; Counsel KIM Weon-jin to Center for Japanese Studies (IFANS); Professor JO Yanghyeon, Head of Center for Japanese Studies (IFANS); Research Professor YOON Sukjung (IFANS); and Researchers YOO Jisun, KIM Mijung, and CHO Ahra.
