On January 14, 2021, the Department of American Studies of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) held an expert seminar on the topic of “An Assessment of the Biden Administration’s First Year.”
Participants interacted in a presentation and open discussion on the Biden administration’s relations with the United States Congress, the social integration of American society and immigration issue, the Biden administration’s trade policy, and U.S. foreign and national security policies under President Biden.
The list of participants includes: KNDA Chancellor HONG Hyun Ik; Director-General CHOI Wooseon of the Department of National Security and Unification Studies (IFANS); Professor MIN Jeonghun (IFANS); Professor HWANG Ildo (IFANS); Professor LEE Hyo Young (IFANS); and Researchers KIM Young Wuk and ANN Surin (IFANS); Professor KIM Young-joon at Gyeongsang National University; Senior Fellow MIN Tae-eun at the Korea Institute for National Unification; Professor SEO Jungkun at Kyung Hee University; Professor SON Byung-kwon at Chung Ang University; Professor LEE Jae Mook at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies; Professor JEONG Han-bum at the Korea National Defense University; and other outside experts.
