Meeting with Former Representative of the Korean Mission in Taipei Upload Date 2022-05-31 Hits 768
On May 31, 2022, Center for Chinese Studies and Center for Diplomatic History Studies of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) invited H.E. YANG Chang-soo, former Representative of the Korean Mission in Taipei, for a hybrid meeting with IFANS experts. 

 

 
During the meeting, IFANS and outside experts discussed the perspectives of Korea and Taipei on the severance of their diplomatic relations, assessment of Korea’s new Taipei policy, and future directions of bilateral relations between Korea and Taipei. 
 

The list of participants includes: H.E. YANG Chang-soo, former Representative of the Korean Mission in Taipei; Professor MOON Heung-ho at Hanyang University; Associate Professor KIM Han-kwon (IFANS/KNDA); Assistant Professor KIM Jong Hak (IFANS/KNDA); Assistant Professor PYO Nari (IFANS/KNDA); Research Professor CHOI Jinbaek (IFANS/KNDA); Deputy Director-General JEONG Seonho of Research Administration Division (IFANS/KNDA); and Researchers KWON Mina, KIM Jin Yung, CHUNG Jonghyuk, LEE Min Jin, and CHO Minkyun (IFANS/KNDA)
