On June 30, 2022, Center for Foreign Policy Strategy of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) participated in the 2022 Annual Summer Conference of the Korean Association of International Studies (KAIS) to host a conference on the topic of "Russia-Ukraine War: Implications for Korea's Foreign Policy."

The theme of 2022 Annual Summer Conference of KAIS was "Rethinking the State in the Era of Global Crisis and Transformation." Center for Foreign Policy Studies brought together experts to shed light on the implication of the war in Ukraine for international politics and explore Korea's path forward at a time when the world faces multiple crises such as the rivalry between blocs, intensifying U.S.-China competition, and North Korea's nuclear armament.

In addition, participants discussed the impact of the war in Ukraine on Northeast Asia and regional affairs, and how major countries' calculus about the Russia-Ukraine war could shape and affect Korea's foreign policy in the coming years.
