On May 2, 2023, the Department of American Studies held an open seminar on the topic of “The Results of the Yoon-Biden Summit and Challenges Ahead.”
The meeting was arranged to give the public insights on what President Yoon Suk Yeol and President Joe Biden had achieved through the recent summit meeting and provide analyses on the key bilateral issues covered at the summit. IFANS Professors KIM Hyun-wook, MIN Jeoung hun, and LEE Hyo Young delivered their presentations, and participants asked questions in the Q&A session to hear the professors’ perspectives.
The KNDA plans to hold various open seminars in the coming months to provide our experts’ insights on a broad array of foreign policy issues and to improve communication between the Korean government and the public.
