IFANS and Keio Center for Contemporary Korean Studies Hold Expert Meeting Upload Date 2021-11-15 Hits 4363
On November 15, 2021, Center for Japanese Studies of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) and the Keio Center for Contemporary Korean Studies held a virtual expert meeting. 
 

At the closed-door meeting, experts from Korea and Japan had in-depth discussions on the two countries’ domestic politics and Korea-Japan relations, President Biden’s foreign policy and Korea-Japan cooperation, and the North Korean problems and the political landscape on the Korean peninsula. 
 

The list of participants includes: Director NISHINO Junya of the Keio Center for Contemporary Korean Studies; Professor TSUKAMOTO Soichi at Oberlin University; President TOKUCHI Hideshi of the Research Institute for Peace and Security; Professor Emeritus OKONOGI Masao of Keio University; Professor KANG Won-taek at Seoul National University; Professor KIM Heung kyu at Ajou University; Professor JO Yanghyeon, Head of Center for Japanese Studies (KNDA); Counsel KIM Weon-jin to Center for Japanese Studies (KNDA); Director-General CHOI Wooseon of Dept. of National Security and Unification Studies (KNDA); Director-General KIM Young-moo of Dept. of Asian and Pacific Studies (KNDA); Professor JUN Bonggeun of Dept. of National Security and Unification Studies (KNDA); Research Professor YOON Sukjung (KDNA); and Researchers YOO Jiseon, KIM Mi Jung, and CHO Ahra (KNDA).
