Meeting with Former Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Osaka   Upload Date 2021-11-22 Hits 5281
On November 22, 2021, Center for Japanese Studies of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) held a meeting with the Former Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Osaka on the topic of “Korea-Japan Relations Seen from Former Consul General of the Republic of Korea’s 1,000 Days of Experience in Osaka.” The meeting was organized to convey the current status of Korea-Japan relations and to reflect on the activities and tasks of the Osaka Consulate General, including public diplomacy with Japan.
 
 

Following the presentation of Former Consul General OH Tai-kyu of the Republic of Korea to Osaka, Professor SHIN Jung-hwa at Dongseo University, Secretary-General CHO Yong-Rea of Korea-Japan Parliamentarian’s Union, and Visiting Research Fellow JUNG Miae at the Korea Institute for Defense Analyses had a panel discussion. Participants also engaged in open discussions.
 
The list of participants includes: IFANS President OH Youngju; Professor JO Yanghyeon, Head of Center for Japanese Studies; Counsel KIM Weon-jin to Center for Japanese Studies; Professor PARK Yong-min (KDNA); Former Consul General OH Tai-kyu of the Republic of Korea to Osaka; Secretary-General CHO Yong-Rea of Korea-Japan Parliamentarian’s Union; Professor SHIN Jung-hwa at Dongseo University); Visiting Research Fellow JUNG Miae at the Sejong Institute; Research Professor YOON Sukjung; and Researchers YOO Jisun, KIM Mi Jung, and CHO Ahra.
