On September 1, 2022, Center for Chinese Studies brought together China experts in Korea to hold a conference under the theme of “Korea-China: 30 Years of Diplomatic Relations and the Way Forward.”
The Conference was arranged to bring together China experts in Korea to look back on the past 30 years of Korea-China relationship and explore a path forward for bilateral relations. The meeting was streamed live on Youtube. The first session covered political and diplomatic ties between the two countries, which was followed by the second session that dealt with the economic and trade relationship between Korea and China. The third session shed light on social and cultural relations, and in the last session, participants exchanged views on how Korea and China should carve out bilateral relations in the coming years.
