Meeting with Author of “Re-think East Asia beyond East Asia Discourse” Upload Date 2022-11-30 Hits 483
On November 30, 2022, the Center for Japanese Studies of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) invited Professor KANG Sang-gyu at Korea National Open University, who authored “Re-think East Asia beyond East Asia Discourse,” for a hybrid meeting (online/offline). After Professor KANG’s presentation on his book, IFANS and outside experts shared their perspectives on the political developments in East Asia in the modern era and Japan’s post-war political system and the need to orchestrate efforts to make progress in the studies of East Asian history to draw implications for ROK-Japan relations in the coming years.
