Takeaways and Strategic Implications from Trilateral Leaders’ Summit of the ROK, U.S., and Japan Upload Date 2023-08-23 Hits 396
On August 23, 2023, the Department of American Studies of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) held a hybrid meeting on the topic of “The Strategic Implications of the ROK-U.S.-Japan Trilateral Summit.” KNDA and outside experts gave presentations on what strategic implications and takeaways can be drawn from the trilateral leaders’ summit at Camp David and how to expand their trilateral cooperation in the Indo-Pacific, and interacted with participants through a Q&A session.

KNDA Chancellor PARK Cheol-hee delivered opening remarks, and Senior Executive Director LEE Moon Hee of the IFANS moderated the open session.
