Meeting With the Kansai Association of Corporate Executives Upload Date 2023-08-30 Hits 324
On August 30, 2023, a delegation from the Kansai Association of Corporate Executives visited the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) to meet with KNDA experts including Chancellor PARK Cheol Hee.  
 

This meeting, which was part of the KNDA’s public diplomacy efforts targeting influential Japanese corporate executives, marked the 20th visit by the Kansai Association of Corporate Executives to Korea. Chancellor Park received a letter of appreciation from the delegation. 
 

At the meeting, participants discussed a range of issues including the direction of the Yoon Suk Yeol government’s foreign policy; South Korea's policy towards China in the face of growing competition between the United States and China; the U.S.-Japan security cooperation framework; Korea’s Indo-Pacific Strategy; and the Japanese public’s response to the release of treated wastewater from Fukushima. 

Participants from the KNDA included Chancellor PARK Cheol Hee, Professor JO Yanghyeon, Director-General KIM Jonghan, Associate Professor KIM Hankwon, Assistant Professor CHO Won Deuk, Research professor CHOI Jinbaek, Research Professor YOON Suk Jung, and Researchers KIM Mi Jung and CHO Ah Ra.
