The 2022 Seoul Academy of International Law Upload Date 2022-07-15 Hits 818
From July 4 to 15, 2022, the Center for International Law of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) hosted the Seoul Academy of International Law (SAIL).
 
 

28 participants from 19 countries in Asia and the Pacific including diplomats, officials, practitioners, scholars, researchers, and graduate students, participated in the 2022 SAIL, which has been held annually since 2016.
 

10 prominent scholars and practitioners in the field of international law lectured at this year’s SAILS.

All courses of the 2022 SAIL were offered in English and focused on the various emerging issues and current trends in the field of international law - global governance and international law, international trade law, settlement of international disputes and international criminal law, law of the sea, international environmental law, cyber security and international law, global health law and the WHO, the UN and international law, and new technology and international humanitarian law. With the continued interest of countries of the Asia-Pacific region, the SAIL has served as a platform for nurturing experts involved in international law practice in the region.
