The 20th IFANS Talks
1. The Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) hosted the 20th IFANS Talks. Since May 2013, the IFANS has hosted the IFANS Talks inviting the general public to inspirational and thought-provoking lectures, and more than 162 participants – Foreign Service officers, university students, and high school students were invited to the 20th IFANS Talks.
2. During the 20th IFANS Talks held from 14:30pm to 16:30pm, MOON Gun-young, an anchor and reporter at Arirang TV delivered a presentation on the topic of “Summit Diplomacy and Journalism on the Korean Peninsula,” KIM Chan-hui, who directed the 2018 Winter Olympics torch relay, delivered a speech on the topic of “Flame that Shines Everyone,” and Professor JUN Bong-geun of the Department of National Security and Unification Studies of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy lectured on the topic of “The Power Struggle in Northeast Asia, Future of North Korea’s Nuclear Program, and Korea’s Way Forward.” The lectures were followed by the Q&A session.
