US-China Relations Seminar on U.S.-China Strategic Rivalry and Korea’s Response Upload Date 2021-11-12 Hits 3890
On November 12, 2021, Department of American Studies of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korean National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) co-organized a seminar with Korea National Defense University (KNDU) on the topic of “U.S.-China Strategic Rivalry and Korea’s Response.” 
 


The meeting was organized to discuss a wide range of issues including: U.S-China cyber warfare; U.S.-Korea alliance in the era of U.S.-China rivalry; China’s strategy to navigate the strategic competition with the U.S.; Korea’s strategy in the era of advanced science technology; U.S. Indo-Pacific strategy and Korea’s position; and ways to diversify Korea’s diplomatic partnership. 
 

The list of participants includes: KNDA Chancellor HONG Hyun-ik; Director-General KIM Hyun-wook (IFANS); Director-General CHOI Wooseon (IFANS); Professor JO Yanghyeon (IFANS); Associate Professors KIM Hankwon and MIN Jeonghun (IFANS); Researchers KIM Young Wuk, ANN Surin, KWON Mina and KIM Jin Yung (IFANS); Professor LEE Choon Joo of the Korea National Defense University (KNDU) and many other renowned professors and experts from the KNDU.
