Defense and Unification Meeting with GCSP Experts Upload Date 2022-06-07 Hits 2498
On June 7, 2022, the Department of National Security and Unification Studies of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) invited Mr. Alain Guidetti, Senior Diplomatic Advisor of the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP), and Mr. Paul Dziatkowiec, Head of Diplomatic Dialogue (GCSP), for an expert meeting. At the meeting, GCSP and IFANS experts engaged in an extensive exchange of views on the possibility of the resumption of inter-Korean talks and preconditions, outlook and assessment of North Korea’s nuclear buildup in the coming years, and an analysis of the Russia-Ukraine war and outlook.  
 

  The list of participants includes: Mr. Alain Guidetti, Senior Diplomatic Advisor of GCSP; Mr. Paul Dziatkowiec, Head of Diplomatic Dialogue (GCSP); Professor JUN Bong-geun (IFANS/KNDA); Associate Professor JUN Hae-Won (IFANS/KNDA); Assistant Professor HWANG Ildo (IFANS/KNDA); and Researchers KIM Jahee and KIM Sukyum.
