Economy and Trade 8Th Development Cooperation Forum Upload Date 2023-04-07 Hits 248
On April 7, 2023, the Department of International Economy, Trade, and Development Studies of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) held the 8th Development Cooperation Forum on the topic of “Korea’s Support for Ukraine’s Recovery: A Way Forward.”
 


The Forum brought together renowned experts to discuss how the Korean government could support Ukraine’s recovery efforts and ways to leverage grants and concessional loans as part of Korea’s development cooperation efforts to assist Ukraine. Participants also discussed ways to cooperate with other donor countries in supporting Ukraine.

Professor KWON Goosoon at Seoul Cyber University participated as presenter, and panelists including Professor KIM Cheol-Min at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Director LIM Wonhyuk at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Director LEE Kyoungjoo at the Korea NGO Council for Overseas Development Cooperation (KCOC), and Director YOO Ji Hyun at Korea International Cooperation Agency exchanged their views on various issues. From the IFANS’ side, Assistant Professor SONG Jisun and Researchers LEE Su Hyun and CHANG Hyoeun participated.
