Defense and Unification Seminar on “Pyongyang’s Shift on Inter-Korean Relations: Outlook and Responses” Upload Date 2024-02-15 Hits 483
On February 15, 2024, the Department of International Security and Unification Studies of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) hosted a seminar on the topic of “Pyongyang’s Shift on Inter-Korean Relations: Outlook and Responses.”
 
 

The seminar was arranged to explore Pyongyang’s intention and the possibility of provocations toward Seoul after North Korea’s fundamental change in its policy toward the South was declared at its plenary session and the Supreme People’s Assembly.”
 
 
KNDA Chancellor PARK Cheol-hee delivered opening remarks, and Associate Professor HWANG Ildo moderated the meeting. Professor PARK Won Gon at Ewha Womans University and former Vice Minister SHIN Kak-soo of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea participated in the meeting.
