Defense and Unification IFANS-INSS-KINU-JPI Co-hosted Seminar on the Biden Administration’s Strategy for the Korean Peninsula Upload Date 2021-03-29 Hits 3632
From March 25-26, 2021, The Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA), the Institute for National Security Strategy (INSS), the Korea Institute for National Unification (KINU) and the Jeju Peace Institute (JPI) co-hosted a seminar on the topic of “The Biden Administration’s Strategy for the Korean Peninsula.” 

 

The Seminar was arranged to forecast the future of U.S.-North Korea relations as well as the relationship between the ROK and the U.S., and explore Korea’s diplomatic path forward to keep its pace with the Biden administration’s new visions for the Korean peninsula. 
 

The heads of the four institutes also met virtually with several experts in Washington to discuss the future course of America’s foreign and national security policies; forecast the Biden administration’s new North Korea policy; and share ideas and perspectives on the Korean peninsula peace process and the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.
