Seminar on “Dissecting ROK-Japan Summit” Upload Date 2024-04-12 Hits 350

On April 12, 2024, the Center for Japanese Studies of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) held a seminar on the topic of “Dissecting ROK-Japan Summit.” The IFANS arranged the seminar in a hybrid format to analyze the results of the ROK-Japan summit, and draw key policy implications for ROK-Japan relations and Northeast Asia’s political implications.

KNDA Chancellor PARK Cheol Hee delivered opening remarks and Director-General CHOI Wooseon of the Department of International Security and Unification Studies of the IFANS moderated the seminar. After Professor JO Yanghyeon, Head of the Center for Japanese Studies of the IFANS, made a presentation, Professor PARK Young-June at the Korea National Defense University, Senior Research Fellow HAM Hyeong-pil at the Korea Institute for Defense Analyses, and Associate Research Fellow Lee Soo-hoon at the Korea Institute for Defense Analyses had a panel discussion.
