Brown bag Seminar with ASEAN Senior Visiting Fellow Kavi Chongkittavorn Upload Date 2022-08-30 Hits 718
On August 30, Center for ASEAN-Indian Studies of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) held a brown bag seminar at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Headquarters in Seoul. The meeting was arranged under the theme of “Strategic Convergence between Korea and ASEAN in the Indo-Pacific” with KNDA Senior Visiting Fellow from ASEAN Mr. Kavi Chongkittavorn as presenter.
 
 

Mr. Chongkittavorn’s presentation dealt with current state of the Korea-ASEAN relationship and explored ways to deepen Korea-ASEAN collaboration in the years ahead. After his presentation, participants exchanged their views to build upon the ideas presented in the presentation.
 
 

A number of foreign service officers from the Bureau of ASEAN and Southeast Affairs, including Director-General CHUNG Eui-hae, Deputy Director-General KIM Dong-bae, Directors KIM Hejin, CHUNG Kyung Hwa, and CHUN Eui-jin, participated in the meeting. From the KNDA, Professor and Head of Center for ASEAN-Indian Studies CHOE Wongi, Research Professor CHO Wondeuk, and Researchers LEE Sang Hoon and LEE Ha Young were present.
