Defence and Unifications  ITF Director Amb. Tomaž LOVRENČIČ Visited the IFANS Upload Date 2022-12-01 Hits 557
On December 1, 2022, Center for Foreign Policy Strategy invited Amb. Tomaž Lovrenčič, Director of ITF Enhancing Human Security (ITF) in Slovenia to hold a seminar.
 


ITF Enhancing Human Security is a non-profit organization devoted to the elimination of threat from post-conflict and disruptive challenges, including landmines, and to mine victims assistance. ITF receives donations from countries around the world, and it has expanded its scope of activities to address the problems of the ever-changing human security environment. In 2021, Korea donated about $200,000, making it the fifth largest donor.
 

Participants discussed Korea’s growing interest in human security issues as a donor country, and ways to advance cooperation between ITF and IFANS in the years ahead to address a broad range of issues.

The list of participants included: Associate Professor NAM Seung Hyun (IFANS); Research Professor JEONG Sang Mi (IFANS); Amb. Tomaž LOVRENČIČ; Slovenian Ambassador to the ROK Jernej Muller; and Researcher LEE Gwang hee (IFANS).
