Defence and Unifications Meeting with Experts at the Federal Academy for Security Policy Upload Date 2023-02-22 Hits 299
On February 21, 2023, the Department of National Security and Unification Studies held a seminar with the experts from the Federal Academy for Security Policy (BAKS), a government-funded institution in Germany.
 
 

At the meeting, BAKS’ digital transformation and security experts discussed various issues with their IFANS counterparts, including the digital trade policies of Korea and Germany, regulation of emerging technologies and the global cyber security environment.

From the IFANS side, President LEE Choongmyon; Professor JUN Hae-won; Associate Professor LEE Hyo Young; Assistant Professor Song Taeeun; Research Professor YOO Joonkoo, Researchers YOO Jiseon, KIM Jahee, LEE Bo Yan; and KIM Sukyum participated.

German participants included Vice President Patrick Keller of the Federal Academy for Security Policy, Head of Department for Digitalization and Innovation at the Federation of German Industries (BDI) Thomas Koenen, Political Counselor Hans Christian Winkler at the German Embassy in Seoul, and many other eminent experts.
