Seminar on “A Critical Analysis of the Russian and Chinese Multipolarity Discourse.” Upload Date 2024-04-17 Hits 381
On April 17, 2024, the Center for Geo-political Studies of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) held an expert seminar on the topic of “A Critical Analysis of the Russian and Chinese Multipolarity Discourse.”

Participants of the seminar discussed the conceptual background of the strengthening of the Russia-China relationship in the aftermath of the Russo-Ukrainian War, focusing on how the Chinese and Russian multipolarity discourse has forged such alignment. IFANS and outside experts delved into the origins, background, and characteristics of this discourse.

Following presentations by Senior Research Fellow HYUN Seung-soo at the Korea Institute for National Unification (KINU) and Director CHUNG Jae-hung of the Center for Chinese Studies at the Sejong Institute, participants engaged in an open discussion.
