Japan-East Asia Forum: Japan’s Perspective of Global Affairs in 2024 Upload Date 2024-06-19 Hits 905
On June 19, 2024, the Center for Japanese Studies of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) held the Japan-East Asia Forum under the theme of “Japan’s Perspective of Global Affairs in 2024.” The forum was arranged to discuss the international situation from Japan’s perspective and draw its implications for the ROK’s diplomacy and strategies.


 
Professor JO Yanghyeon, Head of the Center for Japanese Center of the IFANS mediated the forum, and President MIYAKE Kunihiko of the Foreign Policy Institute, Research Director for foreign and National Security Affairs at Canon Institute for Global Studies, made a special presentation. Senior Advisor CHOI Taiyoung to the Center for Japanese Studies of the IFANS and Associate Research Fellow LEE Soohoon at the Korea Institute for Defense Analyses (KIDA) had a panel discussion, followed by open discussions.
