IFANS Holds Second Science and Technology Diplomacy Seminar Upload Date 2024-12-09 Hits 505
On December 6, 2024, the Department of International Security and Unification Studies of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) at the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) hosted the second Science and Technology Diplomacy Seminar under the theme of “South Korea’s Security and Diplomacy Strategy for AI and Emerging Technologies.” The seminar featured presentations and discussions by experts on the following key topics:
■ The impact of fast-evolving emerging technologies—including AI, space technology, drones, and advanced biotechnology—on the global security landscape
■ South Korea’s national security strategy
■ South Korea’s strategy for science and technology diplomacy.
