On November 29, 2024, the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) hosted the 39th Korea-Japan Academic Conference in Tokyo, in collaboration with the Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA). The closed-door conference featured candid and in-depth discussions on two key topics:
■ The Security Environment in Northeast Asia after the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election and Responses by Korea and Japan, and
■ The Current Status, Challenges, and Future Prospects of Korea-Japan Relations.
