The Seoul Academy of International Law (SAIL) is a training program launched by the Center for International Law (CIL) at the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea. 

SAIL provides courses lectured by prominent scholars and practitioners in the field of international law to the participants from Asia and the Pacific region. Participants in the program come from countries in Asia and the Pacific, and range widely from government officials, including diplomats and legal practitioners, scholars, researchers, and graduate students.


2025 Seoul Academy of International Law was held from June 30 to July 11 in Seoul, Republic of Korea.


► 20 Countries of 29 participants in 2025 SAIL:  Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Fiji, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Mongolia, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Türkiye, Vietnam, and Republic of Korea
